When they delivered mine, they called me and verified my address and just asked me where I wanted it. I told them to drop it in front of the shop. When I got home, there it was, strapped to a pallet.

They didn't call me. I knew the date it'll be delivered. They just delivered it and placed accurately on my driveway without blocking the entrance to the garage.

If this is LTL (truck company) deliveries, I have a great deal of experience from the shipping end.

It is SO hit and miss. Depends on the freight company, that particular terminal, even the driver.

hmmm, I would request proof of delivery, i.e. Amazon usually takes a picture of the item as they left it at your location. I have had sketchy things happen with Amazon's "Large & Bulky Item Deliveries" like the tracker showing movement all over the country but when I contacted the original shipper they found the BOL where it arrived at their site but it was rejected (due to damage) and returned to sender. Amazon is quick to refund your money to make their problem go away. Conversely, Amazon is pretty amazing with their regular size item deliveries.
Well I got a text it was delivered but nothing in my email. My account shows delivered and they either wouldn't or couldn't give me any kind of proof of delivery.

I didn't need the cart but it was sure a good deal. Maybe it will show up!

Cleveland. We rock.

For commercial none of them as as good as they used to be (before covid), but some of the better ones in my experience are Forward Air, XPO, FedEx Freight. As always YMMV. Saia, Estes, TForce, R&L have all slipped a lot. You can use a broker service for LTL like GlobalTranz (no aff, not endorsing, etc). Just BE SURE the info you input / give to the carrier is correct, and take pics before and when loaded. Pack super well. Problems can be a bear even for larger shippers.

Yes thanks I was thinking TForce but will heed your caution. Maybe Fedex freight is the way to go. I have three heavy pallets of equipment to send from New York to Denver and am worried about them.

My cart was delivered without any communication or notification 2 days before the original estimated date. I opened my garage door in the morning and there it was, on a pallet.

However, I was able to follow its journey pretty well through “track package.” It showed “Package left the shipper facility” the day I ordered it. It showed arrival in TX 2 weeks later. And then almost daily updates for 6 days until delivery, so I knew it was coming soon.

Thanks to everyone for letting me know what to expect. Crazy good deal for a very nice cart.

Good deal on the Bosch Flexiclick - $140 right now. Amazing for everything around the house, installing cabinets, hard to reach spots, etc...

I like mine. I use this 1st and move to my better drills as/if needed.

I got mine for similar money but it included the osculating tool as well which felt like a nice bonus but it can only use the blades made for it as it mounts differently but the blade can fit on other tools.

I'd add on Central Transport. I have used them for personal and work, and my dad consistently uses them for work, and we have had fantastic luck. Price has always been great too, almost always cheaper than anyone else quotes.

Had my cart delivered today without notice. The driver along with a helper pushed the pallet truck up to my back door and set it there. I wish I had notice, because I would have told the driver to leave it at the bottom of my driveway. My driveway is 1800‘ long and up a hill.

BTW! Nice cart at a great price and delivered in pristine condition…….. I am very happy! (y);)(y)IMG_3585.jpeg

This seems like one of those deliveries they could have removed from the pallet, and benefitted everyone. Though it is a nice pallet if you need one

Another cart post! Similar to @Shocker Amazon / CEVA shows it was delivered to someone in Champaign IL which is ~ 2,100 miles from my location in Northern California. I checked CEVA logistics and it was delivered, then scheduled to be delivered again! So, I called Amazon's "Large & Bulky Items Department" and they were quick to offer a full refund! I said hell no. I requested they contact CEVA while I wait on-hold attempt to stop the delivery and reroute my cart, otherwise find me a replacement Durham cart for no additional cost.

Result: never know if they are telling the truth, but while I was on hold they contacted CEVA and CEVA said they will redirect the cart to my address and call me tomorrow to schedule delivery. My confidence factor is < 5%. Let's see.

Received mine last night. Delivey guys rolled up. it was plastic wrapped to a pallet. Told them they can keep the pallet , so they cut the wrap and lifted it down off the truck. I could have probably used the pallet down the road but it would have been in the way for now.

The very best price ever. A true bargain till supply lasts. Laser cut out of aircraft grade billet aluminum.

I watched a company "insurance inspector" use one of those to measure my personally owned bench grinder at work and determine that it was in compliance, one because the removable power key resides in my box and it is adjusted to work properly regularly. Dude, really?

Update to lost shipment: cart was delivered to wrong address and wrong state, I called main CEVA and they deferred me to local CEVA in Illinois. CEVA said it was a data entry error. I like companies that admit to mistakes then makes an effort to correct it. Kudos to CEVA, they contacted the homeowner yesterday, and were in process of retrieving today. If all goes well next week it will start a new journey to CA.

Meanwhile, Amazon was apologetic and offered me $20 on my account, which I quickly gifted myself this for an additional $10STWING BIG BLUE Engineer's Hammer - 48 oz Sledge with Forged Steel Construction & Shock Reduct...png:

Inspired by @bugnut, I just ordered one of these lighted (and magnetic) grabbers, currently $14.99 (25% off). Link is in the second quote:

24" lighted grabber from amzn, and it worked

Power source is 3 lr44 batteries, light is down the center and has on off switch on push/plunger end worked a treat. 14$ from the jungle.

NoCry Magnetic Flexible Claw Grabber Pickup Tool with Bright LED Light - 27.7in Long Magnetic Pickup Tool, Retractable Claw Grabbing Tool, Magnetic Grabber Tool with 5lb Pull Strength Pick Up Tool

Can't tell you how many times I've been saved by a standard (non-lighted) grabber like this, even when having to use it blindly in dark places where light won't bend around corners, etc. Hoping the lighted feature helps, even in half of those cases...

... And they're probably all the same. Despite cosmetic difference is here and there , this seems to be the exact same tool as my other one , just with a different size chain and guide.
So I actually used this a couple of months ago and realized that unlike my 4 inch $12 chainsaw , this one does not have a variable speed trigger which makes oiling it a rather interesting experience

Got the cart, shipping company called and scheduled delivery. On a new pallet wrapped in plastic like others have said. Did have some shipping damage to the paint on the handle which I don’t care. I don’t know if mentioned here but the casters have 2 grease zerks , one on the outboard side of the axle bolt and another on the outboard side of the caster. Both zerks deliver grease to the same location. Mine was dry and it took a lot of grease to fill the housing on each caster. Great deal at 80.06 delivered. Thanks OP.
