In order to not tie up this thread and be guilty of what I am complaining about this will be my last comment on this.

And I get what you’re saying also. Except my comment was not about the availability of the cart and when it comes in and out of stock. Here is the main point of my previous post. “I mean should we all start posting the details about every item we order and it’s current location in the delivery process?”
Moreover, the discussion is off-topic and against the rules for this thread:

4. This forum is for the posting of Hot Deals only. Discussion threads will be deleted.

I'm rather surprised the mods have not already stepped in.

Gedore Red 26pc 3/8, Socket set $60
2 left.
Everywhere else , this set goes for $100+
As much Gedore red can be Hit/miss , their sockets and ratchets are actually not too bad unlike their wrenches which are awful. The blow mold cases aren't great though.

GEDORE-R59003026 RED Socket Set 3/8 size6-24mm 26pcs

In for a set. I'll compare them to my beloved Craftsman V-series set. Gedore does have a better range of socket sizes.

Thanks for posting this!

Based on the 1/4 and 1/2 sets I have for the car , I find the Gedore Red sockets to be nice enough, satin finish and the knurling is in a different spot on the socket to the regular Gedore which is of no consequence to me as long as it exists , they just don't lock into the ratchets and extensions as nicely as the regular Gedore do, so, while not excessive , they move around a little more.

They still don't move around nearly as much as some of the HD husky or Lowe's craftsman sockets do for example. I'm amazed how losely those can fit , especially in a tight space using a T handle where I don't really want that sort of movement where the socket almost wobbles on the end. Some people seem to prefer that though.

I don't have much to complain about when it comes to the ratchets and infact I like the 1/4 ratchet a lot actually especially at the $26 I paid for the 1/4 set but what a useless blow mold case it came in though.

WTF, Amazon??? I was flipping through the options, and right when I hit "Add to Cart" all of the discounts dropped from ~50% to 30%.

Yes, 30% off is a good discount, but I'm cheap, and just the general principal of that makes me say, no thanks...

Mike

In all fairness(not that I care about being fair to Amazon) it was 52% off for about 2 weeks. 90 day price chart shows it is periodically on sale. I feel the same way in the grocery store when they change the sale prices damn it!

Rule of hot deals is buy it and figure out after it arrives if you really needed/wanted it.

Weirdly, when ever I use Amazon Rufus Ai and ask price history. It just tells me list price, current price, says it's a good deal and I should buy it. Never actually shows me the price history.

This is the first time I used Rufus for this sort of data and I did because it included the product name making it easy to post. I use Keepa and I would have had to add details so it made sense. It was 3:36am so I used the KISS method.

Heres the data for the RAPICCA Welding Gloves which are now $17.99 if the coupon is available.

Yes. Just wondering why his shows price history?

Out of curiosity I tested several browsers on both Mac and PC and got the same results in most browsers with the exception of Opera which was unable to launch the Rufus window.

According to google AI: "Amazon Prime members get a more capable, "agentic" version of Rufus AI compared to non-Prime users. While all U.S. customers can access basic features of Rufus, Prime members receive exclusive, advanced functionality aimed at automating the shopping process."

Do you have Prime?

For me, it always shows a graph. It is interesting that you don't get that, I wonder what others see.

Edit: Ah, I see the comment above about prime. I have prime so that could be the difference.

I have Prime Business. I'm on a Mac using Safari.

Just tested Prime Business in Safari and I did not the same info I get in non-business Prime.

Yep. Seems Rufus Ai doesn't want business accounts to see all the info. Thanks for looking into this.

Gotcha. I wasn't really deciding that I need them, I was trying to decide which color and length, and whether I should order 1, 2 or 3 pairs!

Guess I'll wait for the next sale.

10% back on select tools using Prime Visa or Store Card

This deal Ends on Mar 31, some items may become a "Limited Time Deal" like the Thickness Planer above has. It is also listed at $599 so don't snooze if you want one at $522.

This appears to apply to some Dewalt, Craftsman, Black & Decker and Irwin tools. You decide if there are deals to be had.

DEWALT Thickness Planer, 13-inch Wood Planer, Three Knife Two Speed, 15 Amp, 20,000 RPM Motor (DW735X)

10% off should be available to most paying with Prime Visa and there maybe an a 5% for use of the card. I wasn't able to determine that for sure.

At Check out:
Paying with Prime Visa
Get 5% Back, and additional rewards on select items charged to this card

I've included Rufus and Keepa data to have a record of how factual Rufus is or isn't

Does Dewalt make a version that comes with helical head? I know there are aftermarket options, but don't see anything on their site: https://www.dewalt.com/en-us/products/power-tools/woodworking-tools/planers

My understanding is that the difference between 735 and 735X is the latter comes with infeed/outfeed tables and a spare set of blades.

Good catch, looks like you're correct so I updated the post. I thought the X in the model was the helical indicator...appears I was wrong and that still has to be an aftermarket add

No Helical or Spiral option direct from Dewalt, also voids warranty once its retro fitted

Only aftermarket- Dewalt 735

Also worth considering, Machorool planer
