Altitude sickness isn't an issue I've ever had. Ive lived at a mile above sea level and a few ft above sea level.
The only thing I noticed a difference on is that I could drink a bottle of wine in Capetown while barely feeling it vs Johannesburg where is somewhat feel it.
I now live just a few blocks away from the Hudson the thing that makes bike riding so hard here as the hills so bike riding in Johannesburg was relatively easier because it's so flat that you can watch your dog run away for 3 days.

My wife on he other hand , she'd come to Johannesburg and she'd feel it. I always thought it was jetlag from being in the air for 20+ hours but she wouldn't have the same when she returned to NY.

First time we took our dog to Santa Fe, we didn’t realize she would be affected. Got out of the car, fed her some water and food…went to a dog friendly outdoor patio at a restaurant to eat dinner…first thing she does is throw up what she just ate…ended up finding her some CBD dog treats to help her feel better. Just a little awkward cleaning up dog puke at a restaurant…lol

have you done any research on these compared to say the beats powerless pros? im running some $120ish JBL ones now and only use them for mowing, they are not so good, slip out easy and don't cancel or sound very good.

Hey brother... Not any real research... I prefer Air Pods Pro mostly because they fit my ear perfectly and don't fall out. Regular Air Pods, however, do not stay in my ears worth a ****.

As for Austin, it's gotten too big for me man. Too many people, too much traffic, too much stuff... Oh, and I'm done with the heat.

That one is 2” wider but only has 4.5 lbs of pulling force. The one on Amazon has 10 lbs.

Wilton Super Junior vises are on sale from $86-$106. They come in 2.5” and 4” wide jaws and in stationary base with swivel as well as clamp on variety.

I got mine used, but these look like good deals on new, utility grade Wiltons.

I have been wanting these too.

I have also been looking at the Shox, since they are allowed on some job sites. But since neither are allowed on my present job site, I think that I would prefer the iPods. My iPods are a little long in the tooth.

I ordered one of these mainly for the 8AH battery for my 1/2 impact that recommends an 8AH battery while I only had 4AH batteries.
I was surprised to see that it arrived with the new Expert line of battery that apparently is capable of significantly more current draw over the regular core line of battery along with a fast charger that charges both 18v and 12v batteries.

The blower itself is very similar on performance to the 40V ego when not using turbo mode and out performs the 40v Ryobi both of which out co-op uses so I've got see how it performs in comparison.

It is though , just as hard to hold for extended periods of time and unfortunately , unlike the Ego but like the Ryobi 40v , will **** your pants of you get lazy and rest it on or near your leg.

Also, flex nut drivers like this for one or two very common sizes might be found in your local big box hardware store, HVAC/duct area.

I have some, and it also includes the 1/4 hex to 1/4 drive adapter for sockets. There are other similar flex drivers on Amazon.
Just another tool to tackle a situation. Not a must have, but if I need to add something to the bill this'll do and may come in handy.
I have a small flex shaft that came with a precision (ie small) drive set. It's ok, certainly not for anything high torque.

Good to hear. My second pair. Love 'em. My use is mostly walking the woods and fishing along a muddy river bank, and mowing. They hold up well. Would I pay $80...probably not. That's five pairs of the cheapo Walmart shoes that might last a year each with their water soluble glue they use.

Bought an air con clutch for my Tacoma and selected " used like new "
Looks and functions like a brand new part as per their definition. Ive previously had a decent run with used like new items so I gave it a go. It happens , you buy a part and it doesn't fit because maybe the previous owner fitted an aftermarket air con and you didn't know , it gets returned and sold as used like new.

This is what I received today
Someone quality checked this during the FIFA football world cup game that their team was playing in or did so on a Friday afternoon at 16h59

You mean "quality checked" by Amazon. I gave up on "used like new" when I ordered a digital torque adapter "in original packaging" to check my torque wrenches. The packaging has 2 bubbles separately covering the case and the adapter. The adapter and it's (roughly cut away) bubble were missing leaving a big blank spot but the case was still enclosed in it's bubble. How the hell do you miss that if inspecting returns. So much for the "inspection " process.

This is my 2nd used like new return out of maybe 10 used like new buys in total. 1st one was a leaky Moen faucet a couple of years ago.
The price difference is between the new item and the used like new is seldom worth it but on occasion , it is. Although today's delivery brings the success ratio down somewhat that I've had with used like new.

I've had great success with Klein side cutters for $5, an 18v blower for $10. Also, paid $12 for a german made Gedore red hammer and chisel set that now retails for $70 so I have had a few wins.

The inspection process is very hit/miss it seems and not well supervised in some cases.
