Not AWD, but the lowest price in over a year (about $10 off):

Freud 10" x 24T Heavy-Duty Rip Blade (LM72R010)
https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000225UD/?tag=atomicindus08-20
$46.60

This is a flat grind blade and is used for ripping solid wood. It is also used for flat-bottom cuts (rabbets, dados, splines, etc) and this blade has a 1/8" wide kerf; it can be used in place of a dado stack (by taking multiple passes) if your saw does not accept them or if you just don't feel like setting up the stack on your saw.

Also guilty of purchasing. I had some $5 coupon on my account so they were even cheaper.

Non AWD, but there are some good deals on Knipex currently

KNIPEX Tools - Electrician's Shears (9505155SBA)
$15.55 (Previously CCC low of $19.22)

Victim number 10 or so here. I managed to sleep on it intending not to buy anything more. But then all the people buying it made me reconsider, and I have that other pair of Knipex small side cutters that I reach for more than I ever imagined. Oh well, I want to stop buying stuff because I want to move but moving tools you use all the time is a lot easier than moving boxes of stuff that haven't been unpacked since the last move 10 years ago.

Thanks for the reply. I meant I need the 12" cross/cut capacity. Will keep my eyes open and see what turns up.

Don't be fooled by the word Metabo. Its just a Hitachi. Metabo HPT means Metabo Hitachi Power Tools. Metabo's actual miter saw is made in China anyways too, when it comes to saws Metabo usually goes with chinese rebrands.

Plenty of black friday deals to be had. You'll find miter saws from dewalt and ridgid likely to go on sale. If you're looking for a stand, there will likely be package deals of saw + stand as there usually are, dewalt especially does that. The one you linked is a 10 inch, and you said you need a 12 inch so it doesn't work anyways?

You said you need to step up from the harbor freight. Where is it failing you, or what do you expect to get more out of another low end saw that the harbor freight isn't doing for you? I wouldn't just throw money at another cheap saw and hope its better than the harbor freight.

I have one. Yes it is a Hitachi. A little fussy to align and the laser is a real pain to align. Quite compact which is a plus for me. It works. Bought it in preference to a HF. It works OK.

There was a "Used-Like New" one for $159. It's gone now.

Poop! If you ever see something like that again, implode me by every communication method possible so that I jump all over it. I watch the man work so hard on the farm, and just hate seeing him to spend so much time with a manual grease gun

For the ones who have with smaller motors (ie: construction types) they're now offering the thin kerf version thats cheaper ($36).

These are the excellent Freud blades made in Italy that compare with Forrest blades ($135) and Not the cheapie eastern versions you find at Home Depot selling for a higher price.

EXELAIR by Milton EX0320MKIT - Air Coupler and Plug Accessory Kit - 1/4" M-Style Steel/Brass Couplers and 1/4" M-Style Steel/Brass Plugs - (20-Piece) $16.65

Maybe not the lowest price ever but a decent drop. I just replaced the fittings on my anemic system and put this on a camel watch. Now it's popped up but too late for me. Maybe some of the distinguished gentlemen of the group could be justly rewarded for diligently scrounging this thread.
