Lodge 15 Inch Cast Iron Pre-Seasoned Skillet

Regular $49.90, used like new $25.27

This is a really big pan, weight 12 lb. You can cook a storm up in this thing. There were two, one is on the way to me. The white perch and soft shell crabs will fear it.

Thanks for sharing, my wife is thrilled!

Anyone have an abnormal amount of orders "lost" from the warehouse? I'm up to three so far. Seems stuff with really good prices somehow gets lost. And magically the same item and condition re-appears in the store... at a much higher price.

The joys of working with chat to get it all fixed..... I love playing the Jeff B lottery....

I haven't had that, but last warehouse order I put in for a radiator pressure checker came with missing stuff. Then took a couple weeks after return shipped before I got refunded. Thinking the second part is that they are cracking down on using Amazon as a rental service. But it would be nice if they checked things out better for completeness.

My last two warehouse orders have been "Canceled" without explanation (refunded). Both items re-appeared for a higher price...

Would be interested to see if the switch from Amazon Warehouse to Amazon Resale is more then just a name change, any operational changes?

I've def noticed-
less inventory
higher prices
slower shipping

Another reason I'm ditching Prime this year

I'm wondering if the rename to Amazon Resale is mostly to muscle in on eBay's space. It makes sense for Amazon to encourage sellers with used inventory to sell on their platform en masse.

I know this is not a deal - but I think it is relevant to add
I had not previously had things cancelled (see my earlier post)
Today I had my first cancellation for "out of stock"

Ok, minor nuisance.
But Amazon seems to want to pretend that it never happened. The item has been deleted from order history, invoices, everything
That rubs me the wrong way.

Can anyone cross check if their cancellations are handled this way?

That’s how they handle mine too. As soon as it’s cancelled there is no record of it.

Did they even notify you?

They did that for something I ordered and was waiting on. Forget what it was, but probably for a truck or equipment.

Log on to check the status and it doesn't exist anymore.

Swore I ordered it, but maybe I just thought I did? I am losing it?
Dig in my emails and find the order. Sure enough I ordered it and Amazon decided I didn't need it I guess and just erased any trace. Not even a message about not being able to complete the order.

Even crazier, I reordered it, and it showed up in a couple days, which was right around the same time the original was supposed to arrive.

Do probably 25k a year through Amazon, usually they are ok.
It's about the only place I order stuff unless they don't have it or it's cheaper elsewhere.
Get everything from socks, toilet paper, dog food, welding supplies, oil, truck parts, tools, etc.

Like I just picked up a VFD drive for 3 phase air compressor. Eyeballing a 15hp motor too, but need to test mine first.

They sent me a an email notifying.:

Hello,

Due to a lack of availability, we will not be able to obtain the following item from your order. We've canceled the item and apologize for the inconvenience. If you see a charge for the canceled item, we will refund you within 1-2 business days. If you are still interested in purchasing this item, it may be available from other sellers. Please visit the detail page for this item below.

And it does show as unavailable. But otherwise my experience was the same as yours. Does not show up in order history, etc
Edit: I keep copies of my amazon invoices for accounting purposes - very creepy to look at that, go to download it again, and it is entirely different (shipping "cost" (free...) and total prices all adjusted)

Go into your Amazon acct, click "Orders", all the way to the right should be "Cancelled Orders". Below is the list of options after clicking on "Orders".

Maybe because it wasn't paid for yet? What if you change the middle box?
Order was dated the 26th July, and charged to card. I expect the refund of difference (not much, no problem) to hit in a few days
The remaining items on the order are still there, but every reference to the cancelled item is gone

It's just disturbing that they delete it out in this manner
One of the same reasons I do not like how they no longer send a full email invoice on all orders (some do now again - but I cannot figure out which or why). Years ago every email had a clean invoice copy, now some of them only give a partial copy and a link to Amazon to see the rest

(Middle box is no change - I simply left it showing that for privacy reasons)

Understood. Sorry to hear that. Was wondering if there was a "Unpaid" portion on cancellation, was why I was asking about drop downs. But sounds like it was already charged, so that wouldn't affect it.

Totally understand about privacy and not wanting to display tons of stuff.

No prime here 2x for $39 shipped (including tax)

Make sure you check that box that says 40% off or something. Seems to be a one time thing. I can’t get it back now to take pic.
