you can get two of these in the 20$ v-series craftsman 3/8 set @ Lowes right now.

If you can still find a 3/8 set anywhere hidden away on some back clearance shelf at some particular Lowe’s for $20 buy all they have, but it will be hard. . Although the Proto locking extension is a very similar design, it is not the same as the Craftsman. The Craftsman is made in Taiwan, and the Proto is made in Texas. Same situation with the MAC sockets vs the Craftsman. The FACOM sockets are made in Taiwan though.

The Proto extension that was linked says COO is China. Amazon could always be incorrect, but it stopped me from purchasing.

My store still had them up front in the deals section. Here's the store finder:

I think proto/facom are both owned by Stanley? AFAIK, the craftsman are facom rebadges. I've seen proto ratchets that are rebadged facom. Knurl section looks identical to c-fman but part number are cf-man specific.

Data points for reference, of the 2 somewhat local stores here
1 is entirely out of stock
1 has stock but at $39 each
oh yeah, if you're going by the online price that's been wrong in the two stores I've checked. I thought you had gone into store. IOW, store has them marked down

I originally bought 2x Metric set the deal of the day for $30 a while back. When I went to the store I found 3x sets that weren't even showing upon the inventory.

There is a Lowe’s deals thread. It is pretty well known that their stock numbers aren’t perfectly accurate, that sometimes items can be misplaced inside the store, that online pricing can change rapidly and specific Lowe’s stores can sell and clearance different item at different prices. Probably a good idea to specify the location of such deals that aren’t online. Links frequently default to the home store of whoever opens them and not to the one that was intended by the poster. Anyway back to Amazon warehouse deals, or whatever they are calling them these days. Four nice 800lbs food safe Akro shelves for $62.
