I ran into a situation yesterday where there was no "buy" button for a warehouse deal. It said, see all buying options, or something like that but sent me to my cart. Then I found more items where you could only get to the warehouse item from the warehouse search page. The normal product page only shows new, even though "used" warehouse were available. I don't want to post links for these items but has anyone else run into this?

occasionally i run into deals that take me to a web page here i cannot find the deal, usually because the exact one i am looking for isn't listed on the page, but the "sellers" link always takes me to a place where i can see things listed. maybe they were having an "issue" last night. tooltopia.com's help site was also screwed up last night when i tried to use it.

i have also had people buy it in the time between the search loading and me clicking on the link. if i reload the search, it is missing from the new listing. . . .

This morning those pages said out of stock, now they are normal. So I guess it was a site glitch. Amazon screws around with the coding so much, I wish they would leave it alone. I was afraid it was one of their dumb moves like removing price search criteria from some categories, or breaking sorting.

Thanks, I grabbed the Warehouse Deal, actually the first ever Amazon Warehouse Deal I've bought. We will see how it works out. I don't do much metric so was going to buy a lower end unit. I'm thinking used/like new Mitutoyo may be better in the long run.

There is no telling with Amazon. I bought a transmission jack that said large cosmetic imperfections, ect, but in good working order. I figured one use and it would have large cosmetic imperfections so I didn't care. It came in and I couldn't see anything cosmetic on the jack itself but the handle and all associated hardware was missing. No chains, no brackets, no manual, nothing. I sent it back and had a pretty bad run of warehouse deals so I decided to give those a rest. I just bought two items listed in good condition at roughly half price. If they'd sold them as new I'd have no real issue with the condition they came in.
