My contribution for today:

JH Williams WSC-167TB 167-Piece Electrical Maintenance Service Set
by Williams

Price: $1,043.79 FREE Scheduled Delivery

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002IAS4F8/ref=ox_sc_saved_title_4?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1

These are nice USA made boxes and the tools in this one are mostly Bahco. The nut drivers will be from Taiwan most likely the "Crescent" wrench, "Vise Grips" and two hammers will be too. If COO is a concern, check it out to be sure.

This ended up being a rip off. got the package in today had a Wera box with Ares Hex keys in it. My guess is some one exchanged put the wrong keys in the Wera box accidentally, or intentionally, who know? Any way Thanks for the try Duker.

Intentionally. People do this a lot, like ordering ratcheting wrenches and putting standard wrenches back in the packaging and returning.

I still don't understand their AWD "inspection" process - seems to me it'd be wise to route returns from certain departments to people familiar with the category. I'd happily be an inspector for, say, tools & automotive, but I couldn't necessarily identify a shawl from a scarf!

I watched a YouTube video on "Amazon Returns" and it's MIND blowing how many items (MILLIONS) they deal with. They are routed based on a "Cost" method first. MOST go into wholesale lots to be auctioned at a per pallet. They are somewhat grouped by category. Only a portion make it to AWDs. The rational is 1. to make some money back from the loss, 2. to make loyal amazon customers/browsers

It was my understanding... only the things that arrive at AWD are inspected with a positive result.

Inspected means NOTHING when its a AWD item. I have been getting about a 30% maybe 40% success rate buying awd stuff lately.

Lots of wrong items in the package for something else or missing items etc.
