My torch came in, looks solid. I've used propane and Mapp gas torches, but not butane. This needs the built-in tank/handle to be filled with butane. I don't know the terminology so search results are confusing on the refills, is "butane cartridge" or "butane cannister" the same thing as "butane refill"?

It should work. It uses the standard fitting that's used for filling up butane lighters.

Pretty sure that wont work, you need butane like you use to refill butane lighters like this.

A cautionary note about Flexzilla Garden Hose - if exposed to the sun the outside rubber will become very sticky and unpleasant to touch. Otherwise very good hoses.
