I bet that is one HiKolity meterThanks for the deals Duker, Vw and Crabman!
My wife sometimes says our basement smells musty, thought about buying this to prove her wrong!

I couldn’t believe it when i saw it. It reminded me of my Christmas Tree. It’s a 9.5’ artificial tree that I bought at a thrift store. In fact, it’s most likely my best deal ever. A tree from the 70s, original box, $2.75. Dozens of individual branches. Beautiful tree. Anyway…Thanks for the deals Duker, Vw and Crabman!

It's nothing to laugh about. Many people have dried when their christmas tree went up in frames.I couldn’t believe it when i saw it. It reminded me of my Christmas Tree. on the side of the original box, stamped in red (very common for that time period), it read:
“MADE IN CHINA. NOT FRAMMABLE.”
I kid you not. We laugh about it every year.

What i like about it, it’s a cheap entry to gauge interest. My teen daughter bought her own set, same, but in blue. She quickly added to it, then more tools from her pop-pop. Now she has a larger box, and goes to their house and builds Target furniture for them. Thank goodness. I’d rather buy out used on CL and clean it, than have to build it.
Think the blue set was $11. But it is a start to get the girl in the shop. What i like about it, it’s a cheap entry to gauge interest. My teen daughter bought her own set, same, but in blue. FYI, Amazon sells empty SK cases:SK Professional Tools 1350 11-Piece 1/4 in.
My FIL gave me an older SK 1/4” SAE set. I thought it’d be nice to have the metric, so this worked out. Of course, now the set won’t fit in the SK case, so not I have to find a larger case, then what do I do with the original…lalalala. And on it goes…
Thanks for this. Oh…i have a few Craftsman molded cases. Older blow molded cases, with expansion room for other tools, etc. I’m putting a couple travel sets togetherFYI, Amazon sells empty SK cases:
I've also seen empty cases on eBay even cheaper. I happen to like blow-molded cases - I know most people do not!
Seller only has one review. Looks shady to me. Be ready to fight about itLooks like a good deal on regular Wright wrench set
