Black Quartz only and Not immediately in stock...

Lee Men's Fleece and Flannel Lined Relaxed-Fit Straight-Leg Jeans

So these came in and are nice, as they are not very thick fleece. My dad was visiting, and was wanting a pair. Found then at Lee's website for the same 15.81, in some color/size options for those who miss this deal with Amazon.

I couldn’t believe it when i saw it. It reminded me of my Christmas Tree. It’s a 9.5’ artificial tree that I bought at a thrift store. In fact, it’s most likely my best deal ever. A tree from the 70s, original box, $2.75. Dozens of individual branches. Beautiful tree. Anyway…

on the side of the original box, stamped in red (very common for that time period), it read:
“MADE IN CHINA. NOT FRAMMABLE.”

I kid you not. We laugh about it every year.

It's nothing to laugh about. Many people have dried when their christmas tree went up in frames.

Well, on the topic of great spellings, my wife bought an outdoor Christmas decoration of an Ice Skating Santa whose legs moved back and forth to look like he was skating. The Made in China instructions called for setting up the "Antimated Satan" - can't think of it without laughing every time I set up the antimated satan.

Now that the spelling bee is over...

Not AWD, but Woot has Hoka One shoes for $114.99 today, which is a good price. I had to move to some more cushioned shoes after a knee replacement, and I tried a number of them, and I think the HO Bondi is the best, at least for me. They have been hard to get and priced high during covid. They have both the Bondi and Clifton models, men and women.

What i like about it, it’s a cheap entry to gauge interest. My teen daughter bought her own set, same, but in blue. She quickly added to it, then more tools from her pop-pop. Now she has a larger box, and goes to their house and builds Target furniture for them. Thank goodness. I’d rather buy out used on CL and clean it, than have to build it.

Think the blue set was $11. But it is a start to get the girl in the shop.

SK Professional Tools 1350 11-Piece 1/4 in.

My FIL gave me an older SK 1/4” SAE set. I thought it’d be nice to have the metric, so this worked out. Of course, now the set won’t fit in the SK case, so not I have to find a larger case, then what do I do with the original…lalalala. And on it goes…

FYI, Amazon sells empty SK cases:

I've also seen empty cases on eBay even cheaper. I happen to like blow-molded cases - I know most people do not!

You cost me a pink set of tools at full price. Somebody got the deal and now the oldest niece gets a pink set of tools at full price. 😃 Will probably cost me $500 over the next 6 months to fill in the sockets and such that she needs. If she loves……then all worth it.
