I've been researching lifts for my garage, and when it comes to 2-Post lifts, I'm mostly limited by size and height. If I go with a 2-post, it will need to be portable, so I don't give up a garage bay. I've drilled a test hole, and the concrete is 4.5" at that spot. Spec is 4" @ 3000PSI.
MaxJax calls for PD-58 or PS2-58. I've read on this board about all the issues people have had with the PD-58, so looking to go with epoxy. The PS2-58 is going to be well through the concrete, diminishing the capability to some unknown extent. Looking at the PS2-12, it appears I can use that to its stated specs since it has a length of 3 11/16 and a hole depth of 4 1/8. Its Tensile strength can be slightly higher than the PD-58. Has anyone done this, or tell me why this is a terrible thing to consider?
