Angle Grinder Cabinet

Pardon me if this has been discussed before. I searched the Forum and couldn't find anything.
Has anyone ever made a cabinet to contain the sparks and metal dust kicked up by an angle grinder? I find myself grinding quite a bit and I'm constantly cleaning up an entire workroom. I've fireproofed the area around the grinding station, I always-always wear goggles, but I'm ashamed to say I've become a bit lax about wearing a mask.
I have a media blast cabinet from Harbor Freight which I suppose I could retrofit, but the enclosure is a bit small for an angle grinder. Any pointers would be appreciated.

That stuff gets everywhere. Unless you want to frame out a section of your garage and make a grinding room, just bring the project outside.

Actually, I do almost all of my grinding on the carport. I don't want to bother my neighbors so I stop grinding (or hammering) at 8pm. I was just looking for a way to keep the mess under control when I grind in my basement.
In the overall scheme of things, this isn't really much of a problem, but thanks for the input.

If you go to fabtecbir any of those trade shows they grind at the show ..... Poor guy grinds all day but he has a plexiglass station where most of the dust and sparks are contained

A downdraft table may work for you, but even then with a 4.5" grinder doing heavy stock removal it is going to be hard to capture all the grit. I do all of my heavy grinding outside. If your parts are small enough a converted blast cabinet would probably work well.

I do some of my grinding outside too. My neighbours have 2 dogs that bark at me every time I go outside. My neighbours always apologize for the barking and I tell them it's quite alright. Honestly, it doesn't bother me at all. The good news is that they never complain about my grinding! I love those yappy little dogs.

Clamp a piece of plywood to the edge of the table vertical (for lack of better words, like a wall on the side of the table) a couple of feet high. Aim all of the sparks at that from a few feet away. That will stop most of the mess from spreading.

I think it was on this site that I just saw someone post pictures of their 'make shift' grind "enclosure" made from a discarded washer and dryer. They were stacked, the bottom one used only to elevate to top unit to a workable level. The upper one appeared to be layed on its back, the base opened, used as a 5 sided box. I thought it was a pretty ingenious use of 2 appliances that were about to be thrown away.

I think you are thinking of Sberry. He has all kinds of ingenious repurposed stuff.
