I just received my new Toptul order. Mike was a pleasure to deal with and my order arrived not only fast, but before I even got Mike paid.
Customer service was phenomenal and the product quality has absolutely exceeded my expectations at first glance.
I'll be ordering from Mike again as soon as my garage budget is back up on par. Until then, here's the new additions to my box.

I'm telling you man, I was very skeptical at first too. My experience with non US made tools has not been the best, but these things are nice. I'm not a professional and most of my tools are Craftsman with a few Macs, SO's and Matcos spread in here and there. I haven't had a chance to really use any of this stuff yet, but at first glance the Toptul stuff is definitely nicer than most of my Craftsman stuff.
Start off with a small order to see what you think, than go from there. You won't be disappointed.

Pistol...Thanks for the nice words.
And I agree SO much with you. A small order is the only way to go in the beginning. Make sure you like the tools before you spend too much money.

Sincerely,

Mike, Pistol, Whomever, Interested to read your reply about pros/cons of the 75' Combo Wrenches pictured above ?????
Not commonly seen with "truck" brand tools............

Wanting to replace and add to my tool collection, but hesitant to bother Mike with my endless questions and/or order tools I regret later............

Also with many people writing negative comments about Snap-On soft handles, curious how the TOPTUL Green/Black handles will wear over time ?? Clean Up ???? etc etc
I see no one ordering plain all chrome handle ???????

Thanks for the education

PistolWhip, whats your opinion on those long reach pliers' handles? I really like the "European" style handles that Toptul offers, but haven't tried the "American" style handles yet.

The wrenches are some of the best I've held. I mic'ed the open end shanks and using the 17mm as an example, the opening was 17.12mm from inside face to inside face (most of the wrenches were very consistant in this .12-.14mm range). My Crafstman Professional Series long reach open end 17mm mic'ed at 17.21mm and most of the Craftsman wrneches varried between .12-.24mm in variation. Neither had ever been used at that point. I don't know if that variation really means that much to you, but it sure says a lot to me about the precision of the Toptul wrenches. now I'll have to mic them again in a year and see how they stand after some use. They also feel very good in the hand. Very well balanced and the finish is absolutely flawless, as good as I've ever seen.

As for the long reach plier handles, I like them. I'm not really sure how to rate them because they're not really much different than anything else I've used. The only pliers that I own that have handles that I'd say are "raveable" are my MACs which I love. The MACs have the harder, cushion type grips with a non porus texture. They're very easy to clean and easy on the hands.
The Toptul grips are also very easy on the hands, but I can't attest to cleaning proceadures since I haven't really had time to put them to much use.

Mike was more than happy to answer all of my questions and never once seemed to be annoyed or bothered by my e-mails or phone calls. Don't hessitate to ask him whatever you need to know. I'm sure he knows that once he eases your skepticism and you place your first order, the tools you receive will speak for themselves making your next transaction that much easier.

I've used the hose grip pliers a number of times and really like them - my hands are small and not very strong and my left one is arthritic. My '93 Toyota has a bunch of vacuum hoses on the engine, so, the pliers are a lifesaver. I've also taken them to school with me and my lab partners have all liked using them too. I've never paid much attention to cleaning them, but my regular lab partner uses Spray 9 when needed.
