I have one of these. I know it is somehow used to hang car doors or to straighten them. Not sure which.
How is this tool used?
I have not seen one of those in years, hard to explain how it is used because depending on hinge/door shell design it can go either way but the best explanation I can give would be that you stick it in between the door shell and door hinge and pinch it by closing the door upon it, because that obstruction is there the door hinge or door shell will give just a little and will move either forward toward your pillar or backward toward your next adjacent panel if that makes any sense.![]()

Haven't seen one of those in a long time. I've been reduced to using 2x4's and old sockets. But at least I'm adjusting them instead of ignoring them until they won't latch any more.
None of the quickie-lubes in this town can afford to give away even a little spritz of spray lube either - oh well, job security I guess.
