Just found the thread......great space......love the stacked stone foundation along the back and sides.
In a response to a much earlier question regarding roll up doors, I can offer the following:
I used metal rollup doors on my shop, and as they roll up on the axle they only intrude approximately 24" into the space depending on the door height. These can be purchased with foil insulation installed. Because they roll up, they will not block any overhead lighting when opened. The downside is a lower R value than sectional doors (IMO), and they are somewhat industrial in appearance.
A sectional door could interfere with a car on the lift unless as stated earlier they either go straight up or hug the ceiling.
