Hi people,
I’m new to this forum and I can see that I’m gonna like it. So many interesting threads and topics and I’ve only been here for a few minutes. I found my way here because I was doing some searching online, trying to see if the Craftsman tools that I recently took ownership of are something I should hang onto or if perhaps there’s a market for old tools like this? I dunno
. But I sure someone here can let me know what I have. Here’s what I’m talking about, all of these tools, as far as so can tell) are from the early 1950s and man are the in excellent condition:
•6pc SAE spanner wrench set with metal stand.
•20pc SAE 1/2” drive socket set with ratchet. This set fits inside the toolbox and includes the original Craftsman tools catalog from the early 1950s. I’ve never seen a paperback catalog this old in such pristine condition.
•14pc SAE 1/4” drive socket set with metal carrying case.
•Benchtop vise #5169, I don’t know much about this thing other than it’s a 4” model, it’s heavy, and it too is in excellent condition.
