I have a 98# Hay Buden I’m fixin’ to sell.. It appears that there is a 3/8-1/2” cap on the top of the anvil. The edge of one side looks like it was washed out with poor welding. Perhaps it was a poor repair from a user trying to build up the most commonly used edge. We’re they originally forged with that cap or is it a poor repair? I’ve had this for a few years and haven’t gotten into the work I had intended. It is difficult to work with fire in these parts.
