Any Nitrile gloves that don't ****?

A good liquid glove for me if I’m going to the opera that night.
Other wise, a good hand cleaner, brush and hot water.

The purple Kimberly Clark ones for me. Or the green Solvex ones for heavy duty. 99% of th e time though its Hyflex Assemblers gloves (nitrile palm, cut resitant) unless i know Im going to be throwing them out. My hands sweat far too much in nitrile.

I like the Ansel Touchntuff gloves. Good toughness and fit but definitely not the cheapest.


Also have Grease Monkey ones at work but are too thin to do much before they tear.

Green milking gloves with powder inside them. I’ve used thousands of them over the years and they’re rock. I think they’re a “touch and tuff” brand gotten from Leedstone.

The 92-500 series have powder inside them. Keeps your hands nice and dry if you’re gonna be wearing them for a while.

These showed up today.

Decided to try SAS Astro-Grips again except in medium (I don’t have big hands and I am already missing part of a finger). They seem to be okay. Fit a lot better than the larges I tried first.

I couldn’t even get the medium Black Mambas on my hand. I ordered large ones and I will give the mediums away.

May try the Ansel Toughntuff 92-500 next

Same here. Generally gloves that don't fit well ****, so buy the size that best fits your hand.

I have been known to do it! Mostly after mixing and applying body filler. When I remove the gloves, they naturally turn inside out. Leave them on the bench that way, after a bit they’re dry, and perfectly useable for a second batch. After that, though, they have too much filler on the outside to risk getting some in a third batch.

I don't remember where I heard about these, but they don't rip on anything. They're also not cheap. I only use them when I'm working with paint or heavy duty work. The rest of the time I use cheaper ones.

I have no complaints about the "Gloveworks" brand 5 mil black nitrile gloves I found at "Coastal Hardware" in Sequim.
Much more durable than the HF cheapie blue ones I was using previously.

Those appear to be latex gloves which do well in certain situations. They differ greatly compared to nitrile, however (in terms of chemical and oil resistance, primarily). They also cost more because latex comes from latex trees and costs $$ to harvest.

HF black gloves in 9mil for vehicle work.

Also bought some Hardy 7mil textured grip last year to sample, not an improvement over the black ones. Once they are used up that is that.

As they tear I put another pair on and continue.

Have a thinner set of white latex gloves for other smaller tasks - True Derma.

Ah. Good catch. I think I got the Latex because of the harsher chemicals the paint was dealing with.

Follow up to my post.

I bought several brand of gloves recommended in this thread.

After trying several of them changing oil, painting, and miscellaneous shop work I have settled on Black Mamba gloves.

I appreciate all the input and I really like the Black Mambas better than the rest.

A couple different kinds from Harbor Freight, Venom, Duraskin, Shneider and I'll have to look in the shop at the other boxes.
