I picked up the new E357 end cutter. I took a side by side picture with the older model to compare. So far I like them much more than the 357. They are lighter which is a bonus if you want to carry them in a tool belt. They definitely cut a lot better, I was pulling a siding nail to test them out and it sheared it right off, which was a difficult task with the other pair. The 357 would cut a nail only if you squeezed really hard and re gripped multiple times. I'll have to loosen my grip if I only want to pull the nail.
