Anyone else loves Gorilla Nuts like I do?

I've started using Gorilla wire nuts and I'll be damned if they aren't the nicest things ever. I've been using them wiring my shop and I can't believe I ever used old style, rigid wire nuts. I wish they weren't so stupid expensive but I still love em.

I've seen those but couldn't convince myself to try them out, they remind me of telephone/low voltage chiclets too much.

They sell the larger red/yellow size at HD, I've since picked up the smaller size off of eBay. Pretty damn nice.

Yum. Those are my favorite. Use to eat those all the time growing up in the islands.

The WAGO lever action are the ultimate in convenience and ease of use. Connections can be done and undone if future reconfigure is needed. I do not know about long term failure rates, and of course cost is more.
Great if you are not sure of wiring in existing home, 3 way, or 4way switch, etc.

I can't stand those wire nuts lol. Especially when you need to remove them from stranded wire

I know but those are horrible compared to the Gorilla Nuts.

I never said I liked them, in fact I hate them too.
Rather than untwisting them I just cut the damn things off.
I seems like the body is disconnected from the spring when you try to untwist them.

Tip...Give the scotchlok body a quick squeeze along the wings with lineman pliers before you try to back-off the wirenut or keep light even pressure with your lineman pliers along the wings as you remove the wirenut.

Definitely switched over to the push type at work. We actually replaced lots of different connections with them.

I'v replaced so many flavor of the week push ins, I don't bother with them anymore for anything more than a ballast quick disconnect.

I will have to take a look at that gorillas nuts

I've tried both of these, along with heavy pressure along the wings.

No matter how hard as you squeeze, some times it just doesn't work.
