Anyone ever see a SO 3/4 chrome drive reducer?

Wondering if this product ever existed: 3/4 female, 1/2 male, chrome reducer.

Yea, has been around for a loooooong time.

yeah most 3/4" hand sockets have it. You push the pin and it pushes the lock on the male square drive.

I can't figure out how that would work. Usually the male square drive has the pin lock and the female square drive has a hole through it. :headscrat

It pushes the pin on the male to release`it so you can take it off without a screwdriver

Per AA Snap on started with the "Loxocket" in 1937. They were stamped wit LIC#XXXXXX which was the license from Blackhawk allowing SO to use the "pushbutton" release. I have one of these 3/4 " drive sockets in my toolbox with a 1937 date stamp.

Cool, somewhere I have a 1/2 drive Blackhawk socket with the button. I remember sifting through the box o stuff and thinking I found a Snap-on socket. Then I found out Blackhawk had it first.

Huh, interesting tidbit and I did not know that. Shows how much I pay attention to other's research :lol:
