Pasadena here! And getting any contractors that are reputable to call back is impossible, I don't understand it 4th largest metro area in the country and you have to beg contractors to take your money
Years ago, I hired one from Home Depot in the sheetrock aisle. I planned to do it myself but as I walked through the sheetrock aisle, I saw several contractor-looking and asked for cost estimate. Cheap and gotten it done on my term!
It was easy for me to negotiate and get the job done properly bc I understand the work.
