Thanks for the replies guys. My intention for this would be to:
Stalls 1+2 - Keep them open with all the usual clutter inside (bikes, x-mas decorations, kids stuff etc.) as well as two daily driver cars and all the mud, gravel and snow they bring into the garage (I live on in the country)...
Stall 3 - Create a wall that separates this from the other area of the garage. This would create a dedicated stall for my car hobby and related tools.
The area that would become stall 3 is where I spend most of my time right now (Workbench, tools, etc). My thoughts are to create a "man space" in there that is easy to keep clean and further equip it with more auto related tools. I would like to put epoxy flooring in as well as a lift. The triple garage is over sized so each stall has more than enough room to park, open doors, move around the vehicles, etc.
The whole garage is heated right now (forced air). The wall that would separate stall 3 would be 8 feet high with a opening in the middle (sort of like a window but without the window) and also a walk through doorway. The ceilings are 12 feet high. I was thinking that this will allow hot air from my garage heater to get at the 3rd stall this way.
The whole concept would be to create a visual separation between the 3rd stall and the rest of the garage but not to completely close it off. The 3rd stall is the furthest away from the house but it is closest to the man door to the outside.
Anyone see any downsides? Or other comments?
