Hi everyone,
I have been reading quite a bit here on the forums and have gained quite a bit of knowledge. I Wanted to know if anyone has used a product from Durall MFG. It's called Dura Seal 400. I have tried doing a search but all the posts are fairly old. The cost is less than their Durapoxy which is a 100% solids. The Dura Seal is a 40-50% epoxy and Durall says once it cures the finish is just as durable as a 100% solids. The caveat is that the mil thickness is thinner due to the solvents evaporating. The cost is much less obviously, but I could use multiple coats for better build and still come in a little less that the 100% epoxy. Ambient temperature is around 100+ here so the working time for 100% epoxy is a concern of course.
My main concern is the product itself. I wanted to know if the product is no better than say rustoleum from Home Depot or whether it will hold up for a residential garage. Durall says they manufacture their own products and it is used in industrial applications. The folks their are nice to talk to and have 24/7 help. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
