Very true IF you can find a Kmart that keeps its tool section stocked. Kmart doesn't burn through many tools, just shopper patience and shareholder equity.
I see what you did there.

Sorry to hijack, But anyone know if craftsman hammers are still USA made? And do they have the craftsman warranty?
(PS: the new stubby wrenches are horrible. The pictures I seen on this forum don't show just how horrible they really are)
Pretty sure they are. In fact I'm almost certain they are and do carry that warranty as well. Whatcha looking to buy?
Maybe a couple of ball pein hammers. I picked up one from a pawnshop today for a whole $0.75 and when I got home I noticed the handle was cracked. I would like to exchange it out and maybe pick up one or two of the other sizes to go with it.

Yep, they're definitely still US-made. Where the heck is my 75 cent hammer?![]()
For real. I don't mind china tools. In fact, most of my tools are duralast. However, you can't take a tool as nice as the USA craftsman pros and replace it with one that looks worse then the **** HF sells. (stubbies only)
The strangest part of my sears trip, IMHO the Taiwan RP ratchets looked and felt better then the newest USA ones.![]()
