Pretty sure they are. In fact I'm almost certain they are and do carry that warranty as well. Whatcha looking to buy?

Funny you should say this. I actually own the Chinese version of these and happen to think they are quite nice. Maybe not as good as the USA version, and they look funky. But they work very nicely ant fit nicely too. The head is not any wider either, its just deeper back which hasn't been a problem for me.

The newer Craftsman sockets don't have traditional detents.

Maybe a couple of ball pein hammers. I picked up one from a pawnshop today for a whole $0.75 and when I got home I noticed the handle was cracked. I would like to exchange it out and maybe pick up one or two of the other sizes to go with it.

the wood handled pall beens are. i love em. just bought the 5 hammer set for 55$ plus it was on sale plus SAVENOW.. got a sweet deal. less than 10$ a pop!

Yeah I felt quite lucky today. This pawn shop charges by the pound for loose tools and they never have anything worth a ****. But this time I found the hammer, two sets of cman pliers and a pair of cman professional lock ring pliers. When I went to go pay, the woman was too lazy to plug up the scale and says "just give me $3"
Honestly, Ive never owned a good hammer before (excluding body hammers). my hammers have always came from flea markets, and places like HF and last about 1-2 years tops.
When I got home, I compared this cman hammer to my china made, (no name) ball pein hammer of the same size and can't believe how much better it feels! You can tell this hammer has quite a few years abuse on it and still looks great. Even with the cracked handle, it is still usable. Im sold on cman hammers now. They are a great value.
Had to go out of town to a parts store today. Took some of my buddies broken Cman stuff with me to get it made up while close to a real Sears store, unlike in my town. Every piece I picked up off the shelf (ratchets, screwdrivers and sockets) were all USA made products. Maybe just not got rid of all the USA stuff yet.

For real. I don't mind china tools. In fact, most of my tools are duralast. However, you can't take a tool as nice as the USA craftsman pros and replace it with one that looks worse then the **** HF sells. (stubbies only)
The strangest part of my sears trip, IMHO the Taiwan RP ratchets looked and felt better then the newest USA ones.
I know HF tools have been junk but the quality is getting better. They have a pro line of impact sockets now.
I have Snap-on and every other brand in different sets but 23 years ago I need to drive a few hundred lag bolts on a constructinon job I had going. I was cheap and picked up a HF Set for around $6. I have been using that set on the construction site ever sence. The set looks brand new and I have had no problems with it at all. I got both of my sons HF impacts in all sizes and drives. They restore old machinery and cars for a hobby. They like them and they are holding up just fine. A $21.99 HF 1/2" drive impact socket can not be beat for the price. Craftsman run $89.00 give or take. Forget the high price of the other brands. If I had not found all my tools use for pennies on the dollar I still would only buy HF impact sockets.
