Any one have an opinion on Proto,or what would be another choice?
That thread isn't about whether or not they are recommended. It's about Proto mis-representing their products. And there's another thread going right now about them... wtf

I figured it out. They're reps from Proto trying to milk us for info on how to improve their name/tools.... Sneaky sneaky
The ratcheting spline wrenches that I have seem to be of excellent quality. Just be forewarned, some of Proto's stuff may not be made in the US even though they represent themselves as a US manufacturer...and are somewhat less than forthcoming about the country of origin for their tools.Any one have an opinion on Proto,or what would be another choice?
That's a DAMN good deal...If I had the money I'd buy them...Taiwan or not.They're great! And here's a plug for me. I'm shameless.

No not a rep,just a tool junkie
They are a US manufacturer...
Yeah, I recently made exactly that mistake. The reversible ratcheting spline wrenches I just bought, and quite the premium price I might add, are made in Taiwan. They are a US manufacturer...
