I recently installed Armorpoxy SPGX coating in my new shop. Ill offer my quick review.

With 720sq ft. of concrete to cover, I bought 2 gallons of clear because I wanted the industrial look. It arrived within a week of the order.

I degreased, pressure washed, and etched the floor. When you do that, you really see all the imperfections. It made me sad to see that on a new slab. I should have gotten a 3rd gallon. The floor really absorbed that first gallon and it was tough to get a second coat. I didn't coat the stem walls because i ran out of product. That's OK, I'm installing rubber trim anyway.

It rolls on easy and you have plenty of time to roll it out. I worked in 2'x6' sections. This is a must because you cant see what you already rolled on the second coat. While applying, there is a smell but it isn't bad. In fact, the smell was gone withing 24 hours.

The coating looks great and the floor looks "wet". After 30 hours of drying, I started moving equipment in. Even after installing pallet racking and moving a lathe in, the floor only showed some small surface scratches.
So far, i would recommend this product. BTW, If you are picky, get a color coat unless your concrete is perfect.

How slippery is it and how durable will it be against oil, grease, brake clean, and road salt /brine? I'm pouring my 30x40 Monday and need to figure out if this or Ghost shield is what I want to use. I like the shine !

I used 1/2 the anti slip recommended and it is a little slippery. Last shop I was in had a lot of anti slip and it was a pain to sweep and mop so i decided to use less and try to be more careful when the floor is wet. I would run the full amount of if you are concerned about the slip.

Im not sure how it is going to hold up as it is new to me. Since you are pouring Monday, you'll have at least 30 days to decide.

Hi,
Non skid is always a trade off between none which leaves super gloss and is very slippery and dangerous if wet or oily up to full broadcast of large size aluminum oxide which is extremely gritty, no gloss, and super difficult to clean due to the millions of little dirt collecting valleys.

We include in our kits small particle sized nonskids which are not brittle, won't pull mop hairs, and won't create a skin bruise if you slide against the surface in bare feet.

We recommend using what we include unless you desire to field modify. Unless you have unusual needs, use what we recommend based on 20+ years of selling these products to happy customers. If you would like the nonskid changed out we are happy to do this at no charge in most cases unless large quantities are needed.

Thank you.
