Framing is quick that's for sure! They are a well oiled machine. My crew was in and out in about 4 days on a 56*56 with a center partition wall that is fully sheeted, bathroom, some other little interior framing for doors etc. It was amazing. It helped that there was about 30 of them lol.

Progress has slowed a little.
But the roof felt is down and tiles are loaded.
Roofers expect to finish by Wednesday this week.
The Electrition should finish up by Thursday morning
My roll up garage doors are due to start showing up late this week and my man doors should be finished by Friday.
Then it’s a bunch of little stuff for a while.
Im off to work for another 9 days so I don’t expect too much progress.
I hate when I’m gone for the big visual progress

Whoa...what's the story on the singles on the back of that rig ? Looks great!

Thanks!
Its a '19 F450 that I singled out. WE spend a fair amount of time off- road in the desert, and duallies tend to pick up rocks between them. So i opted to the DBL Designs wheels and a BDS 2.5" lift.
It keeps the same GVRW etc. and the ride improves significantly. This is the second one I've done. The first was an F550 XL flatbed. Decided that I wanted a few more creature comforts so we bought and upgraded this one.

Electrical has been the long haul lately.. . .
200 amp sub panel is in
Most of the electrical drops are done, still need the exterior door sconces
I decided to go with 2 gang 20a outlets at 4' high, spaced every 6' most of the way around. Then at 10' off the floor 15a duplex spaced every 8' for signs lights or what have you.

Electrician is putting up the high-bay lights tonight, 18 of them. I realize that may be a bit extreme. So I made sure to buy dimmable ones :ROFLMAO:

The man doors are onsite and the roll-up ones show up sometime after the 17th.
The stucco scaffold has been put up and the wrap, insulation foam and chicken wire should be up by this Tuesday4FD4F43B-1455-4217-826F-3533113BEDB1.jpeg14ACEC5A-CFBA-4062-97F8-D8969E6F2F06.jpeg2BCBBC3E-8637-41E2-99E9-229EDCCD48DC.jpegA5AFACD3-9B52-4981-83AC-43A471B1D42A.jpegE6AFB983-4500-40DA-8E59-38240DDB1833.jpeg

Kind of a photo dump.
Been gone for work, so my wife is running the show and taking most of the photos.
Had to add a sub panel.
Man doors are in
Roll up doors are in
Electrical is 90% there

Just passed underground electrical and framing this afternoon.
I get home Tuesday, lots to do.

Natural gas . . . 🔥
All new to me. I have gas for the house already - 302k BTU
Adding 1.8m BTU for the backyard grills fireplace fire pit etc. All told it will be about 1.5m BTU which I'm told is a lot

Anyone have experience with this?
Looks like i need 2" line for my main run then 1.25" for the offshoots

Had any issues with that accessory deadbolt lock? Keep thinking about that on the doors for the house...no known issues the neighborhood I'm aware of thru the garage doors...but I like the peace of mind...and gadgets...I like gadgets too
I'm late to the party on this one but wanted to mention I too have Liftmaster openers like this and have zero issues so far! The deadbolts work every time. Plus, as I walk out of the garage door (step over the safety beam of course) and the door closes complete, you get a little "clunk" as they close and lock the doors tight. Just a nice little assurance. Well worth the money though!

@LaCorski for sure it's a reassuring feeling when you hear that "clunk".

Hopefully the next couple of weeks go as planned. 400 amp upgrade happening Tuesday. Electrical pull to shop Wednesday. Pool equipment install Tuesday. Spray Foam Wed-Fri. Drywall Fri-Sun. Stucco the following week. Natural Gas run as soon as the permits are issued.

Ambitious for sure, but I have to shoot for something. The contractors, inspectors, utilities and the wife are all in... :willy_nil

It's been a few wees since I've had a few minutes to update progress.
things are moving alongggggggggggggggg. Emphasis on the LONG.
I did finally get my natural gas plans sorted and got a permit. They start that tomorrow along with the garage door finals.
Spray foam went in 2 weeks ago and took 2 crews 2 days to mask, cover and spray.

Drywall followed shortly after that. Amazing that 2 guys working 2 days could hang all of this.
The mudders took 2 days as well and are by far the messiest of all the contractors I've had onsite so far.

Stucco started Yesterday. They got the first coat on. Then daily for the next week. they will water it before adding the next coat.

Now we wait for the painters to start on the interior. I need to get the ceiling and rafters painted so the HVAC can get installed.

Almost forgot. We got the 200a service swapped out for the new 400a panel. The utility pulled the old wires out at 7am. The electrician finished the major stuff by 11:30, the permit from the city and the utility by noon and the box was done by 6pm.
