Well, nobody has an opinion on this I guess. I'll order one and see how it works. $37 doesn't seem to be much to risk to find out.

The short body version 4335 has one review on Amazon, and its good. Not sure I would want the long body 4336 as a first air hammer for clearance issues.

I already have a short body air hammer and I've been wanting a long barrel. I'm looking forward to trying it out.

I presume the long body air hammer has a longer stroke? If not, what is the advantage?

Thanks,

Chris

Long barrel hits harder, slower. Short barrel hits lighter, faster. I prefer the long barrel, sometimes it's easier to fit a short barrel with a short chisel into tight places. So, you need both!

Received my Astro Long Barrel Air Hammer yesterday. It looks like a well-made tool. It cuts through some 16ga. tubing with no problem. For the price, I think it is a good bargain. If it saves me from one time of having to use a hammer and chisel to cut off some rivets or a rusted on exhaust pipe it will be worth it.

I received mine as well but haven't used it yet. You're right, it appears to be well made.

Glad it arrived so quickly!
