Hello,
I am new here. And new to machine work. I find a great interest in it and I like to see old vintage items become new and not find the way to the scrap yard.
I just acquired an oldie but goodie Atlas Bench Drill Press. It has NO tag on it as far as a serial number. It has a tag on the motor( 713141) and it has a number stamped on the plate that the motor is mounted on (MABD2-50).
I have no idea what size this is or model number.
It needs some tlc which I feel if I find the right parts I will work perfectly.
1). It runs now but the spindle has a slight bend that if you look close you can see a wobble.
2). the Pully is broke on the top. the bottom two are fine.
3). the chuck is broke I have it off but I would like to make sure I get the right size to replace it.
Any help would be greatly appreciative.
