I've been trying to get my garage organized again and to the point to where it can actually function as a garage and not a "hey, let's just throw this here for now" area. It's a typical "2" aka 1.5 car garage in the midwest.
Old photo, it functioned decently but looked terrible
a few years ago, better organized, but just too much stuff. That whole shelf of containers is all my camping gear
what I started with today
This side just has a ton of random stuff. some of my misc stuff and a lot of my mom's stuff
"My" side of the garage, I just recently rearranged the shelving and built the workbench. Notice my air hose reel and the fan. I plan on running 115 line in a conduit next to my 220 conduit and then across behind the toolbox for my air compressor
My camping containers are now in the back corner, I need to go through them and get rid of stuff I don't need/use anymore. The old coleman cabinet has misc specialty tool cases and the shelf underneath it has an old home surround receiver for the speakers I'm starting to hang
The back corner definitely needs some attention
The lighting, I can't believe I survived so many years with just the opener light and a single light bulb in the center. I need to finish mudding/taping/painting the ceiling, finish rocking over the door, and build a door for the attic access
I figured posting here might help me get my **** in gear to finish the garage before the new toy comes home
