Would 5 minute epoxy work to fill that void? I use it making knives and it stands up well to finishing and is quite durable...just a thought, but I am no expert!

Thanks DRhodes well don't know about quality stuff the Jeep is just a 77 CJ-7 its my high school ride. I've owned it since 1986 it is in a constant state of modification. the boat is a '96 and I'm pretty good at beating up my Snap on dealer. Are you from Utah? are you a Snap on dealer?

Love the photos of the Jeep. Thanks for posting them. I'm actually from Ohio and a full time accountant. I have always been a tool guy though and sell tools on the side.

OK I have not updated or hung out on GJ for a long time. I'll try to summerize. In the spring of 2012 I broke my Currie front 9" housing on a ********* trail at Area BFE in Moab Utah. My buddies and I welded it back together on the trail and I fished the wheeling year on that trail repair IMG_3472.jpg This is the broken housing

IMG_3479.jpg this is the trail weld I have an under hood welder on my Jeep (thanks Mike)

After a ton of mock up then finish welding and building I converted my dirty back room into a make shift paint booth. I put plastic on everything, opened both doors and used a cheap Home Depot fan

Funny. My real name is Brad and favorite number is 7 also. With that, I'm not surprised that you've put some serious effort into making a nice garage as I have too. I'm in Bluffdale where we don't have to worry much about being too close to the property line as most of us have an acre or more to either manage grass or cover with a large shop and a bunch of concrete driveway.

Enjoy and take care. We get to Moab to rock crawl sXs's occasionally...might see ya sometime. :)

Hello Thax. yup raced at riverview, Ogden, Provo, when I started racing I was 8 years old and we used race in a horse barn in Draper oh and the old coliseum at the Utah state Fair park. I haven't looked at my thread on here for awhile but, I was trying to figure out when I finished building my garage...... Are they ever really finished? Kind of like my Jeep projects
