Hi to all fellow members, long time lurker of the GJ forum for a while now, time to show off my own space now!
Disclaimer: I did the whole thread on my phone, some pictures might show up twice.
Disclaimer #2 : English isn't my mother tongue, I speak French at home. Few sentences might be unclear, feel free to ask me to clarify!
First off, my wife and I have owned this house this June of 2015. This is how the garage looked when we first moved in:
The house is located in a Montreal suburb. It was built in 1958. In our province, we name this type of house a bungalow. Most people use the garage as a storing space for bikes, winter tires and sports gear, but that was not the plan for me.
In the first two years of owning the house, not much was done to the garage aside from adding a hot water faucet, adding metal cabinets for tooling and various products for woodworking, mechanics, house improvement, etc.
I mainly user the garage to maintain our cars, tackle house improvement projects and work on various repairs, creations, or giving a second life to old/broken machines.
