Finally got my heater up and running last night. A little too early to tell if it’s enough for my garage. But anyway. When it turns on it makes a very high pitched “whoop” sound. Right as it lights. Is this normal? I wouldn’t think so

I have two 75k BM heaters in different buildings.

One makes noise on startup, the other doesn’t.

The one that makes noise has a couple of elbows in the horizontal vent pipe to line up with the hole through the wall. The quiet one ic straight out (almost) the wall.

I have 2 elbows for my horizontal pipe too. I won’t worry about the noise then.
Also are they supposed to shut off say after an hour of continuous running for a few minutes? I didn’t think to look at the manual / led trouble code light last night. But the garage was cold (45) and I turned it to 65 and after roughly an hour it shut off for a few minutes and turned back on. Thermostat was not up to temp yet. Think I was about 60 when it did it.

My 75K does the same thing, I did ask a professional about it and I can't remember the reason but he wasn't concerned about it. It's been in for two full winters and this one, so far no issues.
