I picked up a stainless Starr X opener a bit before Christmas. Not nearly as cool as most listed here, but it does the job.

Amazon.

I just looked it up and now it's even cheaper than what I paid.

They have a big selection of materials and finishes. I just wanted the stainless.

I picked up the actual opener on eBay with a search for vintage bottle openers. Who knows how old it really is, but it came rusted, so I'm willing to call it vintage.

Not sure I ever posted pics of these, made them out of old keys.

I love that you could modify a key already on your keychain to have that. I hate having to have anything more than the absolute necessities on my keychain.

I will have to take some photos of my openers. I have been collecting them and have I think 7 or 8 of them.

Nothing fancy, just bolted to the stud to the left, next to the garage fridge:

I usually use either a kershaw selectfire (even though it ain't a bottle opener, the slot for the hex shank is perfecto), a wall mounted simple dealie I just picked up from target :)dunno:), a kobalt six tool doodad I also just picked up, or a traditional bottle opener/can opener. Depends on where I am and whether or not the cap twists off, usually it don't with what I'm drinking.

They've got a wall mounted one at sears that is a holiday set that includes a bottle cap catcher (nice!), not sure what it is currently but the original price was like 40 bucks. Probably why they still have it but still great idea to have a cap catcher.

I have the craftsman one. It is heavier and better constructed than most of their tools. Not too mention it's made in the USA!

I have a vintage magnetic Vanderbilt Products can opener stuck to my tool box, but I also have this version of the Craftsman opener:

Re: Let's see your bottle openers

I'm not a big beer drinker but so I have a small collection of openers in my garage. The first open is from the early 70's when pop cans didn't come with the tabs that opened the cans.
