Well all you industrious folks must have a spare bit of somethin' around the shop. Here, let Jimmy DiResta show you..

Does anyone know where to get this Ace Hardware bottle opener? Apparently you can't order it online, and none of my local Ace stores have it. They can only order it by the 30-count case, and they're not willing to do that...

--Colin

Not sure where you're located, but my local Ace (Elkhorn location in Omaha, NE) says they are in stock, but just not at their location (maybe the warehouse?). They've got one on order for me and they'll call me when it's in.

Back in college, I used to have a 1971 Ford LTD that had a couple of perfect front seat bottle openers from the factory. The seat belt ends had a square cutout for the lock that worked flawlessly to open beer bottles. Might have been a little unsafe to have to unbuckle your seat belt in order to quench your thirst, but we survived.

I guess I'll play. Here's mine, the bigger one is from a wackier jumping jack and the smaller one is from a Honda crf450. I keep one in the house and one in the shop.

Ordered at a blacksmith shop. They were making some for a party and I happened to be there at the right time; "Can I get one too?"

Mine are not arranged like art like some of the others, I have yet to hang them out to display but you get the idea, just another addiction fueled by garage journal and this thread

Sweet, top row, 4th from the left, the snap-on with "black" metal, guy on ebay says he has the "only one" like that, I showed him one of these posts here, he still thinks it is the only one :lol_hitti

Haha, I saw that listing. I don't know how he thought it was a one-off with the die-cut head. I think I even have the part number of the set it came from: DES414095 ?

That's how I do it. First time I did it front of dad, he spit his beer out and asked, "Is that what I've been paying for?"

Heyyyyy...... I have one of those but did not know all the features until now! That is one gawd-awful expensive (in more ways than one) bottle opener! Gotta try it out tonight.

Did y'all retrieve 'em from the bottom of a pitcher at the Dixie Chicken?

You're darn right I did!

Apparently they don't do that anymore. Not PC and all that ****.

There's also a Starbucks on the Quad. WTF are hippies doing mixing with the Corps of Cadets on the Quad?

Hi Walt -- is there any way to get one of these in North America or Europe? It would be an interesting addition to my collection.
Hi,
I can buy it in Russia for you (less than 2usd :)). But I must think about delivery to the USA.
Sorry for my English
