Like most of you, I have several. There is an original Coke opener mounted by my shop door. Also a Yeti mounted on my tool box. I keep the Kline opener in my truck and the Yeti hand opener by the commercial beer fridge. I also have a Craftsman, a Colt, a 50 caliber Browning Machine Gun round cut out to work as an opener. In a pinch I have used my Swiss Army Knife. Mostly I use the Yeti hand opener with a 3/8ths washer over the cap to protect it. I have guys that collect caps so I try not to mangle them up. I have a bunch more. There is a guy that goes by the name Drunken Marmot Forge that makes a really cool looking and expensive opener made from different patterns of Damascus steel.

Yeah, I'm into beer!

Anybody ever seen beer bottle with depression in the bottom, designed to open the bext bottle? I remember them on Mexican Carta Blanca bottles. I just went looking for a picture and found none but did find a discussion. Apparantly it was also done by Tecate and some Canadian beers.

Here are a couple more that you can get from Amazon.de:

  • Bohrcraft. Uses the same grip as some other brands, I think made by Athlet Qualitätswerkzeuge.
  • KWB. Included as part of their 2017 calendar.

JR, what is the black and yellow one just to the right of the Felo one? And what is horizontal at the top middle?

The black and yellow is made by Narex and the one on top is by Barbuzzo with 2 heads. Don't recommend the Barbuzzo, looks like it's made of plastic. Got both from Amazon.

I have one of these vintage openers on each of my keychains. I like, no sharp edges. Many brands used this style opener for advertising

Bought one of these a few weeks ago from Spiderco specifically because I wanted something smaller than the Swiss Army I had carried for 20 years but I still needed as bottle opener. So far, I love it.

Jeff - I have that Spyderco Clipit with the bottle opener. I love the idea of it, but the knife blade is made of junk steel and that is one of the worst bottle openers I've ever used...

Some new recent pickups, didn't really realize they made so many versions of the craftsman...?

JR on that site (amazon.uk) they list a "Wera Glow in the Dark Bottle Opener" and show 5 in stock, but they do not ship that to the States, you might want to get one for yourself

Yeah those were part of the 2018 Wera Advent Calendar. KC tool just got the 2019 one and it comes with stubby bottle opener. Where did you find those craftsman ones?
