I'm also in the market for a 4 post 14k with rolling jacks7k. Thanks for your effort and please send me a price list
Price Lists sent. I think we have the 12+ required to get the pricing!!!!!! I will be in contact with the people who have committed to start the ordering process!
Mystic,
Any word on the ability to pay with Paypal?
MAyube this isn't the right forum but I need some input on this group buy. Seems to me a 4 post lift would be sturdier but would limit access to various areas of the under body. Am I right? I know there separate jack you use on the 4 post but still seems like it would be tougher to work on your car
Right.
A 4-post will be a pain if you plan on spending a lot of time under the car, I'd only get one if you plan on using it more for storage than work. Not to say it's impossible to do underbody work, but you'd be reaching between two big plates. The center mounted jack will let you do work brake/suspension work, but still doesn't open up the center tunnel if you're pulling exhausts and such. They make good tool shelves though.![]()
Its kind of what I figured but wanted to make sureMystic,
Thanks for the effort on this.
My local Benpak distributer read me an email from Benpak just now that this is not allowed. They do not do group buys, don't endorse them and are requesting this thread be pulled.
They are quite familiar with Garage Journal, as you'd imagine.
I, for one, am glad it got started. I learned a lot.
If they ARE in fact doing one thing and telling their distributors another, I would like in and sent a pm asking for a price sheet.
I am a little confused as to the different messages but I sure hope they do it.
Again, thanks for your effort however it works out.
Why would you even mention this to a distributor? Of course they'll try to put a stop to it. It cuts the middle man out of the equation.
