Sorry this took so long for me to post up here. Work has been crazy this past month trying to get everything wrapped up for the Winter. Anyways...
Thank you to Jeff, at BendPak, and Dave Shedlock, over at Work Shop Depot, for answering all my questions/concerns (and there were quite a few) and setting me up with this lift. When I first inquired about the lift (back in August) I had to wait until the barn was finished before I could purchase and install. Well, it wasn't until November that everything was finally wrapped up and I could place the order. When I called Dave up, he actually remembered who I was from the previous conversations months before! Either he has a damn good memory, or keeps damn good records!
So needless to say, I purchased the lift through him at a better price than he quoted me months before! (Sometimes it pays to be slacker...
) The lift was shipped to my installer, who Dave had setup for the best installed price. A few days later, he showed up and installed the lift. Overall, it took about 4-4.5 hours and he was done. One thing that was kinda funny is that the "touch up" paint exploded somewhere in shipment. There was blue paint all over the place!
*Please note that at the time of these pictures, the electrical connection had not been made to the lift. Obviously since then, everything is hooked up and running just fine.*
Thus far, I've lifted my Titan and the Jeep CJ-5 and the lift didn't break a sweat. One thing I did notice is that I need to adjust the cables slightly. As it lifted the Titan, the power side (right side) seemed about 1" higher than the other. Other than that, I don't have any complaints as of now.
The lift looks great, nice beefy arms and enough space between the columns to open my doors! In a few weeks, I'll be putting a 3/4 ton diesel on the lift to really see how it should handle that weight. Though, I don't have any doubts that I won't lift it, but we'll see....
Oh, the model is the BendPak XPR-10ACX (Asymmetrical Extra Wide).
