Took delivery of mine on Friday. ABF was the delivery company, I paid for tailgate service. I was informed that I would get a call 1 hour before delivery and they would come between 1-5pm. I took a half day so I wouldnt miss delivery. Got a call at 545pm. Truck arrived at 615pm.
But the guy sure helped with getting it loaded in my garage (storing it for about 2 weeks until my big shop is ready).
The pallet was destroyed, but didnt find any dents, marks or missing pieces from what I can tell.

I'm still waiting on replacement hydraulic lines that don't bend as much. That said, I've had both my vehicles up on it and it works well. A little finicky to get positioned over it, but it lifts the vehicles easily and feels very stable.

Do you have any shots of the undersides of the cars when up? I'm sure others (cough me) are interested in what the access is like with this particular lift. :D

Funny this bump came yesterday, the same day I got my MaxJax cylinders back from the hydraulic shop re-sealed for the second time. Installed everything up last night, flushed the lines/pump/cylinders, replaced all fluid, even cleaned out the reservoir and filter. I hope to get at least another year out of her without issues before switching to my new garage and lift.

Keep us posted!

mine is still sitting in boxes in my non-working garage. Waiting on concrete to be poured in the pits they made. the plan was to do it with the driveway pour, but that doesnt look like it will happen until spring.

Thanks for the responses. I've pretty well settled on this lift as it would be the best fit for my garage space, will update once I receive and install.

Hello recently purchased an mds 6k And would like to compare notes with you. Regarding your cylinders , are any of them leaking air from the top of the cylinder ? If you have little or no weight on the lift, how long does it take for it to come down?

No air leaks at all. Without weight, the platforms take forever to lower, usually throw a few hundred pounds on each while bleeding to speed it up. With a vehicle on the lift it comes down as fast as you'd expect.

So if you put a couple hundred pounds on both sides , and say brought it up to the second lock , how long would it take for you to lower it ?

15-20 seconds maybe? Once it gets down below the last lock it goes pretty quickly, even unloaded. Bleeding it for the first time takes a lot of time lower.

After weeks of arguing over email with bendpak , they finally sent out a replacement cylinder which does not leak. Now with a couple hundred pounds on both sides and with the lift at full height , it takes about 1 minute to lower. With the old cylinder and the lift at the second level, it would take 15 minutes for the lift to lower. Unbelievable that the support manager at bendpak said 15 minutes is normal, and that the only way to test the lift is to actually put a car on it ?? I am completely amazed at the ignorance of the support reps on their knowledge of their products. The main reason I went with bendpak was I had a md-6xp for 6 years with zero issues . Crossing my fingers that I do not have any more issues with this one.

Put a few hundred pounds on each platform so it comes down but isn't a whole vehicle.

I have had some issues, but they were all self inflicted.
i decided to epoxy my floor so it delayed install. Then when cleaning the floors i noticed that EVERYTHING slopes into the pits. That is not what I expected, cause it is what I SPECIFICALLY told the concrete company to not do.
So no i am waiting on a concrete cutting company to come out and bore a drywell into one of the pit pads.

Does anyone have a ballpark figure on what it would cost to hire someone to pour a slab and form the pits? I know I could do it myself, but it may be more BS than I want to deal with.

In fact, I may just get the non flush-mount version of this and bolt it to my existing cracked concrete floor. Might seem dangerous, but the surface area of the baseplates is so large, it doesn't seem like anything could really result in a collapse or life-threatening situation?

Thoughts?

Mine was all part of my slab pour cost. I dont know what area of the country you are in, but i would guess no more than $2k. I figure about days labor to cut concrete, frame, set rods, pour crete then finish it.

I really hope the 2nd gen of this lift is better than this one. Cause if you have to deal with Customer service at Bendpak, you are screwed. The quality of the equipment is not good. The weld to hold on a nut in the control cabinet didnt survive the rigorous strain of paint.
I opened the control panel cover and it was just laying on the bottom. booger weld still attached to the nut.
The fittings didnt match the manual at all, extra weird parts included in the shipment. Then trying to get a hold of anyone over there is like pulling teeth. I wonder if they double as employees at the DMV.

Wtf is this
