I purchased a 4 post BendPak lift in early August 2015. I received the unit and the shipping company had treated the lift poorly. I refused the shipment, documented and snapped a few photos. I contacted my dealer right away. Within 24 hours I received a phone call from BendPak customer service. A new second lift was shipped that day. I received the second shipment in good condition with only a few paint scraps. I notified customer service and they shipped touch up paint. I assembled the lift in a day. I noticed a support bar for the cylinder under the one ramp would cause an issue. I snapped a few photos and contacted customer service. Customer service agreed and they contacted a local welding service near me to come out and fix the issue. From a scale of 1-10 BendPak product support "15"!!

Awesome! I've dealt with BendPak on a couple of 2 post lifts in the past. I originally bought one from Challenger and sent it back (had to wait for what seemed like forever).

I finally ended up going with BendPak. Their support team is excellent.

Glad you had a good result with your purchase. Who did you go with when ordering your lift? I'm getting ready to order my XPR-10 and would like to have a good experience with my order.

I just ordered a BP XPR 10A. I am excited to get it. I ordered it 24 November but still don't have a lift. I guess it was lost. I hope it's not too banged up when it does make here. It was suppose to be shipped to Montana but wound up in Chicago and then to Missouri. WTH. I am sure it will get here soon. I have faith in BendPak.

I did get the lift but it was real banged up. Just cosmetic. I am sure Bendpak will have some paint I can get. I installed it yesterday and I am impressed so far. I will be wiring it up in the morning.

Save yourself some trouble and get a forward lift...

I have 1 bendpak left (4post), I had a couple, I wont make that mistake again, especially since using the forwards, just plain more better... I dont think they are advertised as much, but a really nice lift... My next lift will be a Rotary shockwave...

I wonder how all the other companies manage to get their lifts out with out destorying them, what is bend pak doing wrong, I hear this a lot, "they sent me touch up paint" "they told me to call a welder and send them a copy of the invoice", screw that, if I am walking under a 10K lb truck I want it right from day one...

As I posted on another thread.....

I totally agree with the statement about BendPak quality.(or lack of)
When the time comes for me to purchase another lift it will not be a BendPak,
With all of the issues I have had and with the stories I have read on this forum I cannot figure out how BendPak stays in business. If the problems were just with shipping damage or some visual problem I could maybe understand it but when I have mechanical problems with a new unused lift and my life and my expensive vehicles are at risk I am more than pi**ed.

i have not been that happy with bendpak, I got one with a blown clyinder and they tell me they cant help me, unless I buy the whole cylinder, They dont have seal parts for it. its not that old maybe eight years. first time i smoke a motor and they wanted to sell pump and motor, that it was the only way sold. I ended buying a motor from their supplier, 1/2 what they wanted.

the lift itself never really let me down, but their customer services *****

I have a friend that bought a new bp about 2 years ago, 3 pistons, a pump/motor combo, and it came scratched, bent, and banged to sh!t.. I can not say its a lot cheaper, better quality, better looking, queiter, better to use than others I have compared it to, so with all the complaints on the net I cant figure out why people still buy them?

Their low pro is 3.5" minimum contact height, the forward dp10 (I have 2 of these currently, by far the best sub $3K lift I have ever seen.) is the same height,

I got a great deal on my forwards all installed and setup, I have 1 at my shop that has been put up and down more times than you can count and its still working perfect, I also had one installed in my attached garage on my home, hasnt been used as much but again, PERFECT...

If I didnt get such a great deal on them 2 forwards, I think I would have went with the Whip was102e, ANOTHER GREAT lift, all USA made, I actually got a chance to walk through their facility, pretty cool, and a bunch of good guys in there welding their balls off, making really good stuff.. For $3500ish, you get an american lift welded by americans in america, thats pretty good, my brother actually got a good deal on one, he loves it, and I know others with them, you call around and beat them up, you can buy them right...

I really also like rotary, but like mohawk (but not as bad) they are expensive, I don't use them enough anymore to spend DOUBLE on one when the forwards do everything I ask. ALTHOUGH the shockwave system is AWESOME, it goes up and down so fast and quiet that the first time I seen it it was a bit "scary"...

you can get them for $5K shipped, http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rotary-SPOA...:g:LEUAAOSwstxVByM8&item=311319332440&vxp=mtr but they are so nice, I believe tire discounters are all using them if you have one by you to go see how it works. I know its only 41 seconds difference BUT, I hate standing their holding the 2 levers waiting, that extra 3/4's of a minute *****...

Especially if you just finished installing a 600hp hemi in your 71 challenger and cant wait to go blow side ways through a few intersections...

I think buying a lift is an important decision, and basing it 100% on price is never a good idea, take a long hard look at what $100 more gets you (the forward dp10), or $500 more (the whip lift), $1200 more (the rotary), $2500 more (the shockwave), $4000 more (the mohawk, lol)...

For the money I vote the forward, for a bit more the whip, for those that want something cool the shockwave is hard to ignore...

good luck, if you are near massachusets gary bloom sometimes has them setup, I know I got a chance to look at the bendpak next to a forward and next to a rotary (non shockwave), and I am confident the forward for the money was the best way to go, for either the pro or the home garage warrior...
