It depends on what you are referring to when you say "bent handle". Multiple companies make what I would call an offset handle ratchet, where the handle has two bends in it to help lift the hand grip away from the work surface to prevent dragging your knuckles while ratcheting.

If you are referring to the type where the handle is slightly bent up maybe 30 degrees or so in one spot, I don't think I've seen a non-flex version of that style ratchet.

I'm not sure if they still sell it or not, but Ridgid used to sell a 90 degree bent handle ratchet, where the handle was bent straight up. It was part number 92202 and it was made using several different head styles over the years. I attached a stock picture of the model I have seen in person, which used 2000's era Craftsman/Kobalt/Allen/etc Danaher era guts.

Yep, that's what I referring to. I swear I've seen one before, but I must be misremembering. I've checked a bunch of manufacturers and not a single one offers what I'm thinking of. Plenty of flex-head bent handle ratchets, but not a single fixed head ratchet.

Buddy had a 3/8” craftsman that was bent about 20deg from a cheater pipe. It was actually very nice to use.

I have no idea what the purpose of this is. They make them so someone must use them. Any ideas?

I think the original purpose was for spark plug access. I have a Wright without a flex head. I’ll take this opportunity to mention that the quality of the chrome plating is very poor and is flaking off. I had to wrap it in electrical tape to prevent cuts. I occasionally use it.

Hell yeah, I always knew that as a spark plug ratchet. Initially I kinda blew them off as it always looked unwieldy. However The SO dude came by with a deal with a Tshirt when they first came out with their comfort grip model so I said what the hell. Man I used that ratchet for EVERYTHING! Within a matter of months I had to get the head rebuilt because between that flex head and the bent handle I could get a socket on just about anything and everything, and I did too! That included plenty of stuff I probably should have grabbed a 1/2" for if not an air gun but with that long handle I could get it loose without having to stop and swap ratchets/sockets so I didn't. Suspension work, brakes that ratchet instantly became my favorite ratchet for just about everything besides ignition modules.
