Now how do I go about not paying $230 for one of these.....![]()
I wonder if Snappy ratchet heads fit on their breaker bars?

Can you take the heads apart on those Tekton ratchets? They look just like my titan ratchet but I can't take the head apart on mine because of the selector lever like riveted on.

Just as an update,
Tomorrow I'll be posting a review on the Tekton ratchets. This will include open head inspections with photos.
Keep an eye out!

Inside the head, it shipped this dry.
Closer view of the teeth and mechanism.
I've used the heck out of the ratchet since Monday, and it works well. Already looking fit a flex version, as the extra long handle is immense.
For the price, $35ish bucks from Amazon. . It was a score.
The 3/8" ratchet I got with it, sweetened the deal.
My suggestion: Can't go wrong with it. You could spend a lot more for a lot less.

What'd you end up using for a lube? I'm thinking about grabbing one of those to use at home.

For anyone else interested, here is a good used one (fair amount of scratches, but good overall condition) for $155 shipped. Note that it is the SLX80 (with no "A" at the end) so it has the older head that was prone to breaking. Snap On will probably warranty just the entire head for a new SLX80A head.
