The snap on stuff. I wouldn't think of buying some, but a buddy brought some down and it worked great. I just need to find out how much it cost and who makes it for them, might be able to buy it re-branded for cheaper

We use the green Zep brand hand cleaner with pumice at work and it seems to work well even with diesel oil stains. My father worked with a guy who had a son that worked at a Howard Johnson restaurant. Their favorite story:shocking: was about the time the kid was working on his car and had to get to work in a hurry so he didn't really do a good job washing his hands. His job that night was tearing up the lettuce for the salad bar, and in the "old days" gloves were not used. When the kid got done, his hands were clean.... I guess you could say lettuce is a good hand cleaner.

Well, about six months ago a good friend gave me a 1 gallon jug of ZEB "cherry bomb" cleaner to test out. I really like it!!!!!

Now that said, for two decades I've been using GOGO original and GOGO pumice cleaners for cleaning my dirty automotive hands. So far, I have to say both are about equal. I like them both. I'll try to give a review shortly.

I second the gojo wipes. always keep some in my service truck for the farm. great with oil and grease. has enough material and each wipe is big enough to do a good job cleaning.

Stoko Kresto. Its the most aggressive pumice cleaner i've found.

We get some "SCRUBS" things in a bucket that work really well, but I don't think you can go wrong with the Boraxo powder stuff. I've preferred it to anything else for years.

Cherry Bomb.

The orange zep has nothing on the cherry concentrate.

+1

It seems to be the exact same as the green zep stuff, but it just smells awesome! The weird thing though is if you use it for work, how quickly your body habituates to the smell. When we first got it at my job it was such an intense smell and you could smell it from across the room when someone was washing their hands. Then after maybe a month I couldn't even smell it at all :wtf:

Every kind of hand cleaner i've used seems to work about the same as far as getting all of the grime off. The only real differences i've noticed are the brands with a lot of moisturizers in them keep your hands in much much better condition if you use the stuff every day. The snapon stuff is too harsh to use on a daily basis, but it leaves zero residue and works very well for maybe using once at the end of the day.

Never seen those anywhere where can you get the gojo brand wipes.

I bought them at advance auto parts. They used to have the 75ct, but last time i was there they had the 25ct. I did see the 200ct at napa. That's where i will buy them next or maybe amazon.

Napa Cleaner w/ Power Pumice #5105....It will remove EVERYTHING left behind by ****** Orange-Glo, Cherry Bomb, regular GoJo, etc. Cherry Bomb blows the big one!!!! I've used that at home after using GoJo or StartBrite a the end of the workday(Distribute by State-Chemical--Ohio...similar to Orange-Glo) and Cherry Bomb STILL can't remove the stuff left behind. AND...it does NOT remove fuel odors either as it clearly "claims" to on the bottle...
It's distributed by Balkamp, so I do not belive that it is any sort of re-packaged commercial brand heavy duty cleaner
Only other thing that seems to do the job is WORX poweder distributed from the Matco dealers. It works well but seems like you have to use a ton of it if you're hnads are moderately filthy

Napa pumice will remove tacky, liquified undercoating off your hands, caused by brake fluid/solvents spray dripping off of a frame. It removes it with ease...that's how I compare cleaning agents

Quik N' Brite. Great grease cutter, no bad smell or drying of the skin. Non-toxic, non-staining, all natural. Available on-line.

Any of the **** that has pumice in it seems to work fine. I also second brake cleaner and glass cleaner can also work in a pinch.

I buy the orange pumice stuff at Costco - don't remember the name. Dawn works best along with brake degreaser, carb cleaner, etc...

the best hand cleaner around [and been around for a loooooooooooooooong time] is just plain old fried chicken grease.

I know it sounds stupid but it does work and does not dry out your skin:bowdown:

TRY IT THE NEXT TIME YOU HAVE FRIED CHICKEN--then you can see for yourself.

That is why us redneck mechanics have lots of FRIED CHICKEN around !!!

I dunno, a large orange pump bottle by my sink, followed by whatever dish detergent is sitting on the other side of the sink.

Just looked, I have pumice Fast Orange, and a tub of non pumice GoJo. Both of which were chosen based on the fact they were on sale when I was looking for hand cleaner.:)
