Grab a Rousseau made Tekton and dont look back. Build quality and warranty are unparalleled for the price. Plus youll get $380 in tekton points for free tools and upgrades to your box.
The Rousseau slides are nice.
Prefer this style slide vs ball bearing type commonly used.

Just an FYI, Lowes is clearing out the Viper toolboxes in some lime green colors. They seem decent.

Frankly, I would really look for a good USA used box. I have a Matco 4S 56" and a Cornwell Classic 60". They are easily nicer than the US General boxes. I have a US General top box on the Cornwell. They are OK but don't compare.

You could get a 4S for around 2k in great shape. The Cornwell boxes are tougher to find but 5k can buy a really great box.

In my area there are a ton of boxes for sale right now. 72" and even an 84" Cornwell with hutch. That could be had for 8k but it is top of the line.

So here is an example in my area. It is a 103" Cornwell box with hutch. 30" deep. Looks pretty great for $7k.

I'm in the market for a new roll cab tool box. My budget is $5000. I'll only buy new. I currently have a 26" cabinet, mid cabinet and top box that is overflowing. Thinking I need around a 50-60" roll cab. Looking for recommendations for a NEW cab. I don't want to mess with sorting through marketplace or craigslist for used boxes.
If wanting new I recently picked up a 48 inch rolling 10 drawer Rousseau box and that thing is a beast! Very similar to the 11 drawer 48 inch Tekton box. The latching mechanism is smooth open anywhere on the handle and 400 lbs drawer loads, plus all the dividers options are endless. I liked it so much I found a stationary cabinet to add to the garage as well. IMHO the only reason these boxes have not put the tool truck boxes out of business is the small and specialty size drawers for the auto techs. I know a couple techs and they won’t be buying any more snap on mac boxes Tekton and or Rousseau directly. Yes they cost a lot more than Husky, Icon etc but these really are lifetime boxes and 400 pound drawer can hold a lot of tools. I adjusted the box arrangement was easy to do, not all boxes can do that. I can see these putting a big dent in the truck box market!
