I sell all the major lubes and Tri flow has gotten ridiculously expensive. Houdini is 1/2 the cost now. Superlube has instituted huge minimum orders so 3/4 of their dealers stopped selling it.

One thing to keep in mind is most of the "silicon" sprays also have petroleum products in them. Not a good thing if you are going to use it on any rubber parts. You can find it without petroleum but you have to do some searching.

I found this out when I bought my first RC Helicopter. It recommended using silicon spray for the tail rotor drive belt but had a big note to make sure it did not contain petroleum products.

AMSOIL has a good silicon spray. I recently cleaned our vinyl window frames as the slider tracks were full of dirt and hard to open and close. After cleaning the tracks and applying the spray, you have to be careful to not close too hard and cracking the glass.

I can't think of anything that would need it. I use Fluid Film in most things that need lube or rust proofing.
