Get a HF box its just as good at a fraction of the price![]()
do you pro wrenches get to write off those huge boxes at tax time
I use my box everyday at my job. I'm not a pro...
I have the Master Series 1022 with the add on Power Bank at work. I love it but I am about to the point I need to upgrade to a 73" box. Personally I do not like the Epiq series drawer latches.
I have had a number of Snap-on and Mac boxes. Twenty years ago I bought one of the first Maximiser boxes From Mac. I am afraid to buy a new box as I can't imagine anything working or looking as good as mine. Others I have worked with have traded into new and used Mac, Snap-on, Cornwell and Matco boxes and I still prefer my Maximiser.
And to the other question unless you own the shop or are paid as an independent contractor, no it is not possible to write the cost of tools and boxes off on taxes. As per the three tax accountants I have used in the past. The only redeeming quality is the resale for your wife after your dead. And of course the tools and boxes really are better to work with.
I have looked very close at HF tools and boxes they are NOT the same, not trying to be pissy just saying.
where are u located?
