I'll be investing in 250' of URD 1/0 cable to power my new shop. Any suggestions on where to get the best deal?

Find a local distributor and call for a price.
Mine has blown away HD and the online places by 20% fairly consistantly
Not many choices in my rural area. Might have to buy online to get a good price.

FYI, URD has to be terminated outside, is not to enter structure.

At 250" you'd be better off using Al 2/0 for 100A. Are you planning to do conduit or direct bury? 2/0-2/0-2/0-1 MHF is a good option if doing direct bury but can go in conduit. XHHW-2 is another option but does need to be in conduit as it's not direct bury rated.
edit: both MHF and XHHW-2 can run inside the structure but need to be in conduit where above ground and inside.
