Good morning gentlemen,
I wanted to check in with you guys before I made this purchase.
I’ve got a 24 x 24 shop. I want to put a big fan in there. It gets a little hot down here in the summers.
I’ll be running this thing off of 200 amp hour 12 volt LiFePO4 battery with a Victron inverter powered by solar. Power consumption is a little bit of a concern.
Running this fan on high and my string of ten 100 watt equivalent led bulbs will eat about 10 amps an hour with 200 amps available. Works for me.
I’ve narrowed it down to these two choices. Unfortunately, Menards doesn’t operate in Texas. Returns would be a problem.
The Home Depot fan seems to have pretty good reviews.
I could go up to $1,000 if I had to. If it would get me a product with better support or better parts availability. i’m in this for the long-haul.
I’ll put another one in the upstairs part of the structure later. I’m on the fence as to whether to spring for one of the cheap bottom of the line big *** fans.
Any thoughts or other products to look at would be appreciated.
